Office Hours
Gales Ferry Medical Group's regular office hours are Monday-Tuesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cancellation / No Show Policy
We understand it can be easy to forget an occasional appointment however, we reserve the right to dismiss families who habitually miss appointments. We require a 24-hours notice for cancellations. Failure to give notice of cancellation will be noted as a "no-show". There is a fee of $30.00 for missed appointments and a $100.00 fee for missed physicals without a 24-hour notice.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of a life threatening medical emergency, call medical emergency services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Gales Ferry Medical Group, and they will contact us.
After Hours Urgent Medical Needs
If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call Gales Ferry Medical Group at (860) 464-7274. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly.

Insurance & Payment
At Gales Ferry Medical Group, we accept most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company or you may call our office at (860) 464-7274 to find out if we accept your insurance plan.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.
Hospital Affiliations
Doctors at Gales Ferry Medical Group have hospital affiliations with Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, CT.
Prescription Requests
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Gales Ferry Medical Group are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can make your request by calling Gales Ferry Medical Group at (860) 464-7274, and choose the correct ext. for the Providers medical assistant. No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors do not have access to your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
